“I will receive whatever I request.”
Today’s lesson concludes by saying:
It is a day in which I would do nothing by myself, but hear Your Voice in everything I do; requesting only what You offer me, accepting only Thoughts You share with me. (W-pII.339.2:2)
The choice of the word “request” indicates a conscious choice, a consciously chosen direction of focus. You consciously choose to focus on the creative qualities of Source that extend through you. By requesting “only what You offer me,” you are showing that you have decided to zoom in on that dynamic exclusively. Then only those creative qualities will be extended, the reflection of which will return to you in the images you will see in the world.
The word “receive” in the title, “I will receive whatever I request,” indicates just that: through your immersion in what Source offers and extends through you, you will feel the presence of Its gifts inwardly and, through the workings of the mind, you will experience their presence outwardly.
