You can choose. It is not like: what you see is how it is. No, what you see is what you are keeping active inside. And what you are keeping active inside is entirely up to you to decide. You are at the steering wheel. By focusing on things that you feel are truly worthwhile you nourish your mind with the food of your choice in order to see a new world.

A new and happy perception will come to you when you deliberately refocus your attention on the good and the lovely, leaving any focus of lesser quality to dissolve in your experience.
