“Where darkness was I look upon the light.”
Now we see that darkness is our own imagining.
(W-pII.302.1:3-4)
Experiencing darkness is a sign of a misunderstanding. Darkness itself is not a fact, like love and light are facts. Darkness is the result of entertaining a mistaken conclusion about who you are and who everybody else is. Allow a tiny bit of doubt about your dark conclusion and a ray of light will take the opportunity to shine in the small crack you have allowed. Trust that ray and know that it is a harbinger of the light you have longed for for so long.
