God is a symbol-word pointing to the dynamic of Life, the flow of Love, the shining of Light, the expansion of Peace. You are no less than any of those things.
Any sense of self that is not in harmony with these divine qualities is a mistaken thought form, a thought form that the ego mind has been hustling with. You have, mistakenly, allowed that hustling to go on in the sanctity of your mind. It does not belong there, it is an illusory and alien diversion of shadows. Those shadows are not who you are. Light and Joy are the Life that you are; life without them is a misunderstanding.
When you notice these diversions happening in your mind, stop a moment to offer them up to inner guidance and ask to see differently. You will.
