Review: “I am not a body. I am free. For I am still as God created me.”
198) “Only my condemnation injures me.”
Another person’s condemnation cannot touch you unless you allow it in. Allowing condemnation in happens when condemning thoughts are active in you. The two may not seem to be related. But the fact that you are experiencing it in an image in the world means that it has a message for you: It is showing you a quality that is active in your mind.
It may be tricky to let go of a condemnation active in you when you do not even have a clue as to what it is about. The good news is that you do not need to know. Simply do not take the appearance (of condemnation toward you) for face value and respond to it in its frame. Instead, lift your eyes and heart upwardly and offer the situation up to inner guidance. Acknowledge that somehow somewhere you have an erroneous thought going on that you would like to let go of. That’s all.
Now you can set the situation free from your perception, as well as the people involved. Nothing has happened, other than an erroneous thought projecting into a disturbing image that you now have recognized the dynamics of and released.
