“It can be but my gratitude I earn.”
Each and every situation you find yourself in is an invitation to remember your one and only function: to set it free of any notion you may have held about it. Only then will you experience the Light in you meeting the Light in it, shining away the darkness that was there before. Then, gratitude is the natural response.
This is the glorious potential of everything that seems to be happening in this space-time reality. It takes willingness to focus on that potential rather than on the “proof out there” that seems to justify your perceptions.
Being willing to let go of those perceptions and accepting your function is all it takes to make room for the light to spread and gratitude to blossom.
