“Give me your blessing, holy Son of God.”
Source and Creation are together. They couldn’t split apart even if they wanted to. Source, once having extended itself, can’t pretend it hasn’t done so. Creation can’t split off from that which has given it Life and continues to give it Life.
Asking for a blessing is the acknowledgment of the unity of Source and Creation in an environment that is so keen on delineation and separateness. Asking for a blessing is offering a blessing, because in unity there is no giving or receiving. There is only exchange in ever expanding benevolence and joy.
When you look at someone and say:
“⁷Give me your blessing, holy Son of God. ⁸I would behold you with the eyes of Christ, and see my perfect sinlessness in you”,
you will know that in that moment you have chosen between the two thought systems, between the two teachers and you have chosen to side with Love.
