“Give me your blessing, holy Son of God.”
Everything around you, all things, be they alive according to biological standards or not, are creation in expression. They are creation’s offspring, the “Son of God”. Without any division. The source and its expressions are together. They couldn’t split apart even if they wanted to. The source, once having extended itself and having explored expression, can’t pretend it hasn’t done so. Expression, even when exclusively focused on appearance, can’t split off from that which has given it life and continues to do so.
Asking for a blessing is the acknowledgment of the unity of all of creation in an environment that is so keen on delineation and separateness. Asking for a blessing is offering a blessing, because in unity there is no giving or receiving. There is only exchange in ever expanding benevolence.
