“I will step back and let Him lead the way.”
This is the path of promise, beautiful and glorious. It is open to all who lay aside, if even for a little while, their own notions about what they are, what the world is and their role in it. It is okay to not have a clue about any of these things. In fact, your conclusions and assessments, based on a limited perspective, are holding you back.
During your lifetime you have accumulated knowledge, abilities, convictions, beliefs – an entire backpack full. When you decide to “step back”, you put the backpack down and offer it to the Holy Spirit. It will not be wasted. Because when you “let Him lead the way”, you allow the Holy Spirit to browse through all the items in order to choose and use those items that are best suited to allow you to come into your own, and at the same time allow others around you to come into their own, too.
You can put down the burden of having to figure it all out yourself. The Holy Spirit will turn all the bits and pieces of the life you have lived up till now into a new unified expression that speaks of Hope, Love and Joy, of Peace, Freedom and Abundance. Releasing your hold is all it takes.
