“Light and joy and peace abide in me.“
A rose is a rose and will remain so whatever may surround it. Yet, the rose may believe itself to be a thistle, it may think that its petals are purple and it may feel that it is best to behave like a thistle. The restoration to the knowledge that it is a rose and has always been a rose happens by looking for rose-like qualities inside. Only when the rose has identified and claimed those qualities inside will it see and believe the image the mirror reflects back.
So it is with each of Creation’s extensions. Light and Joy and Peace abide within, waiting to be discovered, recognized, embraced, identified with, extended and lived.
