The two ideas for review today are:
71) “Only God’s plan for salvation will work.“
You may feel that the term “God’s plan” seems to point to something outside of you. But it is not outside of you. You are as God created you, you are love created by love. The so called plan is nothing other than the help you are receiving in remembering who you really are. Only love—including its various facets such as light, peace, freedom, joy, and so forth—is able to disentangle you from your predicament of mistaken identification with appearance.
72) “Holding grievances is an attack on God’s plan for salvation.“
Holding a grievance—the result of mistaken identification with an appearance—blocks the flow of love in your awareness and thus in your experience.
J: Why does the Course choose to use the word “attack”?
To make the point that holding on to grievances creates a block. In other places it talks about an error, a mistake.
