What is salvation? It is the integral release from the hold you thought the images you were seeing in the world had on you. How? By releasing my hold on them.
Thankfully there is help available! As soon as you have shown the tiniest bit of willingness to let go and see differently, help and guidance come streaming your way. Knock and the door will be opened.
The Course stresses the role forgiveness plays in salvation. Forgiveness is about setting the world free from your hold on it. The world, after all, is a reflection of the content of your mind. By releasing the images, you help release the ideas that have lodged in your mind and that were causing the images to appear in the first place. When your mind is cleared of erroneous concepts and convictions you will see its Clarity and Purity uniting with the Clarity and Purity in the other aspects of Creation around you.
